Best blue color for zircon, not yet the out-of-scale rare pieces that we have but still among the best 1% possible blue quality. This is a very dense and high hue blue, and it is discounted. Why the discount? You can notice that the oval cut is slightly imperfect but I don't want to re-cut it. It can be recut in a perfect oval while still staying above 7ct or eventually be transformed in a stunning cushion but that would bring it over 6 carats. But this gem can be used as-is because the imperfection of the oval will hardly be noticeable if the jeweler knows how to hide some angles. So if you know a good lapidary this is a gemstone for you. The gem is perfectly clean inside, no trace of crack nor inclusion. This gemstone is still eligible for limited wholesale discount. This is a grade A color.
